Amanda Burns joined Caffarelli and Associates in January 2023. Amanda graduated cum laude from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in 2019. During law school, Amanda was Lead Articles Editor of the Loyola University Chicago Law Journal and served as an academic tutor. Amanda also holds a master’s degree in Cultural and Educational Policy Studies from Loyola University Chicago. She attended Xavier University where she graduated with honors.
Prior to joining the firm, Amanda clerked for the Honorable Eve Reilly in the Chancery Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County where she worked extensively on employment matters, including cases regarding the Illinois Wage Payment and Collection Act, contracts, non-compete provisions and emergency labor disputes. Amanda also worked as a Plaintiff’s side attorney focusing on employment discrimination and harassment.
